Maintenance Technician/Supervisor

Location: Central Region
Type of offer: Full-time
Hours: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday to Friday (1 weekend worked per month)

Functions

  • Coordination and supervision of teams
  • Plan and distribute the daily tasks of the maintenance team
  • Ensure compliance with deadlines and quality standards in interventions
  • Monitor the team's work and provide technical support when necessary.
  • Technical Maintenance
  • Perform or supervise preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, hydraulic, air conditioning, carpentry systems, among others.
  • Foster a collaborative and responsible working environment.
  • Monitor the condition of equipment and infrastructure, identifying repair needs.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, health and environmental standards in all interventions.
  • Ensure that the work area and equipment are organised and clean.

Management and Reporting

  • Keep detailed records of the interventions carried out.
  • Report progress, problems, and needs to the Maintenance Manager.
  • Support the management of suppliers and external technicians.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician/Supervisor
  • Knowledge of foreign languages (English – preferred)

Position: Head Chef

Area: WOT Pateira de Fermentelos, Águeda

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Technical and vocational training in cooking or equivalent (preferred).
  • Solid knowledge of food hygiene and safety (HACCP).
  • Proficiency in various cooking techniques (grilling, sautéing, baking, etc.).
  • Notions of stock management and technical data sheets.
  • Sense of organisation and solution-oriented approach.
  • Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.
  • Rigour, attention to detail and a passion for gastronomy.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven experience in the role (3 years or more).
  • Valued experience in hospitality and catering.
  • Availability for rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

DUTIES TO BE PERFORMED:

  • Plan, prepare and cook dishes from the à la carte menu, daily menu, weekly menu and buffet menu.
  • Perform different cooking techniques (grilling, sautéing, baking, among others).
  • Ensure the quality and presentation of the dishes served.
  • Stock Organisation and Control
  • Perform mise en place and organise the ingredients needed for service.
  • Control stocks and place orders with the supply department.
  • Ensure the correct storage and rotation of food products.
  • Standards and Quality
  • Ensure compliance with food hygiene and safety standards (HACCP).
  • Monitor expiry dates and storage conditions.
  • Keep the kitchen and equipment clean and organised.
  • Collaboration and Management
  • Collaborate in the preparation of menus and suggestions from the Head Chef.
  • Participate in the training of new team members.
  • Replace the Head Chef in his/her absence, when applicable.
  • Availability for rotating/split shifts, including weekends and public holidays
